- Minor Planet satellite tracing - routing

The following waste products are collected and recycled by registered environmental contractors: |
- Oil/Lubricants/Tyres/Metals/Paper/Cardboard/Plastics/Wood

Vehicle wash - up to 20% of wash water is recaptured and recycled. Waste water that cannot be re-used is filtered clean before being released to drains. |
- New vehicles purchased use the latest technology to assist fuel economy and reduce carbon emissions. 80% of vehicles are Euro 4. 20% of vehicles are Euro 3

- 5% biofuel mix in diesel (the percentage to be increased as technology develops

- Combined diesel/liquid petroleum gas mix currently being trialled

- Forklifts - 80% are gas or electric operated

- Double-deck trailers and new tall trailers are aerodynamically designed for maximum fuel efficiency

- 80% of drivers have passed both the theoretical and practical SAFED (the Safe and Fuel Efficient Driving scheme) which trains them in better driving techniques

- Employees are encouraged to consider environmental impact within their specific areas of control and ensure that goods and services purchased support our environmental policy wherever possible
