As we live and operate our business in a predominantly rural area, the service the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance provides is very relevant to us. Many of us have seen their work at first hand. Yet they are totally dependent upon public support - and unlike an appeal for a specific project, fundraising has to be continuous. |
This is why Framptons Transport Services Ltd is supporting the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance's 'Flight for Life' weekly lottery draw. Many of our employees are also participating in the draw to raise money for this very worthy cause. |
The new Eurocopter EC 135 helicopter was officially launched by HRH The Princess Royal in February 2007. It is larger and offers a quicker and smoother flight, so patients receive the best possible journey to hospital. |

The value of the service was graphically illustrated by this photograph taken at a Moto Cross event by one of our employees just a few weeks after our sponsorship commenced. Thankfully the Air Ambulance arrived quickly to take the injured rider to hospital. We understand he sustained a broken leg and wish him a speedy recovery. |
