For trailer rates we use
the following conversion ratio: 1000 kg = 3m3 and 1 loading metre = 1750
kg, (whichever is the greater).
Unless specified otherwise,
for deliveries or collections of 5 pallets or more, we require access for
a 13.6 metre curtainsided trailer.
It is assumed forklifts are
available to load and offload goods on and from the vehicle. Please
be aware that the driver is not required to manually load or offload goods
- this is the responsibility of the sender and the delivery point.
If you require tail lift,
timed or other special deliveries or collections, or you have restricted
access, please let us know in advance. Likewise if
loading/offloading must be through rear doors, or through the roof.
We do our best to accommodate this type of 'special' delivery but we
cannot guarantee this will be possible on every occasion.
Tail-lift collections and
deliveries in the UK are normally via Palletline, please be aware that
there are restrictions on the size and weight of pallets and check
suitability of the consignment with our traffic office. For deliveries to
domestic premises or flats - delivery is to the kerbside, or nearest
convenient point. Tail-lift collections and deliveries are less common in
some areas of continental Europe.
All quotations are given
without engagement and subject to availability of departures and

the amount is calculated on a daily basis and fluctuates according to
currency markets, but is approximately 7.00 GBP per kg.
