Framptons Transport Services Ltd operates under the following general terms and conditions. |
Goods are carried under RHA Conditions of Carriage for movements within the UK and CMR conditions for international road transport (EU destinations). These limit our liablity to £1.30 per kg and SDR limit respectively. (SDR = Special Drawing Rights), the amount is calculated on a daily basis and fluctuates according to currency markets but is approximately 7.00 GBP per kg. Warehousing is under RHA Conditions of Storage. |
All quotations are given without engagement and are subject to the availability of equipment and departures. |
Quotations exclude All Risks Insurance, duties, taxes and customs clearance unless specifically stated. There is no consequential loss cover or liability. |
Quotations are valid for a period of 30 days and based on the information given to us at the time. They are subject to adjustment should the actual consignment differ from the details we quote against. |
For trailer rates we use the following conversion ratio: 1000 kg = 3m3 and 1 loading metre = 1750 kg, calculated on whichever is the greater. |
All quotations are given in GBP unless specifically stated otherwise. We invoice and pay in GBP. |
Quotations exclude fuel surcharge and VAT. The fuel surcharge applicable is that at the time of invoice, and this may be different from our quotation. Fuel surcharges may be subject to alteration without notice. |
Please note that payment is required in advance by cheque, credit card or bank transfer if an account is not held with us. Cheques should be made payable to Framptons Transport Services Ltd. |
Credit accounts are available subject to satisfactory references and agreement to our terms of trading. Payment terms are normally 30 days. |
